Haven't seen this on the forum since I've been here. I guess to
some extent its obvious from our photos and also most of us will be
from the states. Anyway... where do you live?

How about a branch on the thread foir every country - will make
getting an idea of percentages easier.

I'll start the ball rolling in the next post. :P

We seem to have lost much of our bragging rights. This past winter, we had almost no snow to speak of, and the last several winters have been relatively similar, puncuated by the occasional blizzard, but nothing like some of the ones I remember growing up. Being near the southern tip of Lake Michigan puts us at an advantage. Often when the worst storms come in from the west, they will tend to veer south around the lake, pummelling northwestern Indiana, but leaving us relatively unscathed. Still the only thing that can be said about our weather with any degree of certainty is that it can be completely unpredictable, and can often change drastically at the drop of a hat. This morning was dismal and pouring rain non stop. Right now the sky is blue and the sun is shining brightly, but when I venture back out shortly, I won't be forgetting my umbrella.

Well, I have an Aussie accent in English, which people here actually have a lot of difficulty understanding ;)

And a Polish accent in Polish as I've always spoken it at home. Well, if you listen carefully you may pick up a little difference to proper natives but not much. (i was born in warsaw BTW)
