I find LR annoying for the following reasons:

1. Can't select the color space for editing, only for printing or saving.
2. No soft proofing.

3. When you make adjustments with a slider, the effects are permanent for that step as soon as you release the mouse button. (Compare Capture NX, where you can experiment with various values and the effect isn't made permanent for that step until you tell it to.)

4. You can't delete just one edit, but can only clear the entire history. (Again, compare NX ... .)

For me, these make LR unusable. (YMMV)

Has any/all of these been changed in 2.0?
Thanks.

I haven't downloaded the LR2 beta yet, so I don't know all the changes. But, you might want to check out http://www.lightroomforums.net/index.php

There is alot of info there and they also have a request form for what you would like to see in the final release of LR2. If enough people are asking for a certain features, the better chance of them being implemented.

None of this has been fixed in Beta2, although Beta2 is far better then any previous version and many improvements have been made, the points you raised are most frustrating to me as well. Soft proofing and color management is imperative to any image editing application IMHO, but Adobe does not believe in using any CM with LR.
