Folks
I keep a locked down Mac as a dedicated legacy photo computer.
I have Lightroom 6.14 installed - which is the final release of the standalone version.
Recently when I attempted to open Lightroom it advised that I needed to reinstall.
I reinstalled - entered the serial number, logged into my Adobe account as requested and was advised I needed to connect to the internet - see screenshot below.
The machine is connected to the internet!
Details:
MacPro 5,1 running MacOS 10.13.6 - High Sierra
I neither wish nor need to upgrade to a subscription version
I merely want to run the installed version I had running perfectly fine previously.
I have a load of much newer Macs right up to M3 and running Sequoia.
The machine with the problem does not need to be 'updated' I merely want it to remain what it was setup for - a legacy photo machine.
Any advice appreciated
