Nice work! Awesome branches coming out of the main bolt. What settings did you use?
 
Hi Scott, you posted this shot about 2 hours ago...was this the storm of today. I was on HWY 15 coming from San Diego and saw a few bolts. Actually stopped at Miramar MCAS and got a few snaps of some jets landing. Still have to look at them and see how they came out with the overcast sky.

yes... from today... storm did some damage in borrego springs. knocked down trees, signs, roof tiles.. looked like a twister blew through town!!

Wow - 1/100. Time exposures for lightning I can understand, but to hit the button at just the moment for 1/100 ... luck was on your side. Or you have a predictive power that I would like you to lend me some time.

Great timing and exposure. Have you done lightning before or just happened to be in the right place at the right time?
