Do some of you realise that the more threads you make titled "Let's not talk about orbs" and the more posts you make in which you state "Let's not talk about orbs", the more you are talking about orbs, and them ore you encourage a new conversation about orbs?

Particularly if you then decide to attack those with the eyes to see what's wrong with their images

There is nothing you can say that will change these people - they have a mental problem, it links a possession to their own personal worth.

When you either attack or complain about the possession they see it as an attack on themselves. They then retaliate by attacking YOU rather then your complaint or argument.

it's something they are unable to help or change... they were probably bullied in school.

Gary, Ratty, and others, how is it that you see yourself constructively adding to discussion here by posting snide and nasty comments with regards to orbs, with an obvious intent to annoy and anger? i see maybe a few constructive comments from you, now and then, but a lot of arseholery. i guess it's fun for ya'll. but you do realize that it's this behavior which makes the apologists for orbs even more loud and annoying. you can help make it stop!

why not focus on understanding the best means to compensate, compromise on orbs, or focus on getting the most out of the camera's strengths?

maybe by casting doubt and eroding Fujifilm's sales you believe you are punishing them, well i guess that's fair enough. the anger in your heart isn't healthy, probably best to let it go, accept the mistake in buying this camera, help others avoid make the same mistake, and focus on making beautiful photos

Gary what right do you have to criticize those who would prefer to emphasize what the camera does very well? Do you realize that the more posts you contribute drawing attention to the orbs issue (the existence of which I do not deny) the more you appear as someone with an obsession? Of course you have a right to discuss the orbs issue, but your intrusion into multiple threads contributing nothing but negativity portrays you as someone with issues. You have made your point, many, many,many times. Give us all a break, eh?

My point is precisely that they SHOULD emphasise it. Instead they can't resist provoking more and more orbs debate. Come on, this is not brain surgery.

Time after time the thread is hijacked by an anti-orbie not by - as the immature like to call them an orbie . A guy with the initials WH has done this at least three times.

First, it's easy not to open my posts. Second, why are YOU contributing nothing but negativity to MY thread? Third, there's something VERY stupid about cheerleaders attacking those who want their cameras to work properly and then complaining when people point out the camera's faults. Fourth, if you start a thread mentioning orbs don't act like a surprised virgin when orbs turn up in your thread.

Why the personal attacks? If someone criticises my favourite camera, I either know my camera works or know it has issues. Saying your momma wears army boots is not going to change that/

And the funny thing is that after all your attacks on Bill's pics, my orbs have not improved even one little bit.

You will note by the way, that hundreds of Canon users are NOT angry enough about ANY Canon camera to be returning it to the manufacturer or demanding a firmware update.
