LCD protection

I had the shield from them for my D30. I believe the D60 is the same size. It worked well.

For my 1D, I bought some Palm protectors, but haven't even put them on.
What do you use to protect the LCD? I see da products has one that
fits the D-30. Is the D-60 LCD the same size? Or what do you
recommend? I see where one person has mentioned using Palm III
clear sheets.

First, you shoud stop taking pictures of your own mug.
I discovered he was an Engineer. We have all had to deal with the stupidity of items designed by engineers. I don't think that was a purposely crass or childish remark. It was just another thing that was designed by another engineer with no concern for reality, practicality or how their failure might hurt someone else. All lowlifes deserve a chance to express their opinion and prove their stupidity. With that in mind ... I applaud mccance's comment.

Erg

where would we be without them........hmmmmm, cleaner environment.........nope........hmmmmmmmm, what are they good for?..........i got it, see previous post.

I use HoodSkins for PDAs. Seem to me to be clearer that other PDA covers. Each sheet is enough to cover both LCDs. Even though I am careful, they have saved scratching the LCD.

If it wasn't for engineers, you wouldn't have digital SLRs.

Heck, you wouldn't even have film SLRs.

You probably wouldn't have cameras, period.

Hey, not all engineers are pubic lice decendants. Go easy. :)

I also use the da oly protector on my D30.

Once I was out shooting the Culver City City Hall, and I put my camera on its back to change the lens. Unfortunately, I for some reason pressed the camera down into the surface and turned - I heard a grinding noise. Turns out there was a small pebble on the surface, and it scratched my oly protector and roughed up the eyepiece. I think that's something those clear Palm covers won't protect your LCD against. Then again, I think few would be as stupid as I was when I scratched mine. Ideally, we'd all be so careful with the gear that we would never worry about scratching it.

Hi Judi:

I sent for the DA protector and used it for a little while and found that the gap top and bottom allowed dust to get between the LCD and the protector, removed same.

Welll .. you just open the thread and there it is .. BAM.

Not many threads have that.

It was alarming. I just wrote the first thing that came to mind.

I'm sure you people find the candor and honesty refreshing.

LOL.

Ok, lady screen protector, I apologize. It was more that the photo was there, not that it was you.

Now for the rest of you crybabies, you're on your own.

Good evening,

Rob the engineer.

ps. isn't someone going to tell me what a talent void I am and that all the photos on my site are garbage?

Or, will just trashing the people (engineers) who provide you almost everything besides life itself suffice for you shallow thinkers?

LOL again.
