You are right on target. I had not noticed any back focus issues
but had started to see a lot of discussion. I downloaded the
target posted in another thread and did my own tests.
As expected I found nothing out of whack. It is amazing to me the
autofocus is as good as it is. I like to shot people with long
lenses with thin depths of field and it is a challenge for any
camera - and photographer - to get the focus just so. I get as
many back focus shots as I get front focus shots simply because
people are moving, I'm not getting lucky or I'm making bad timing
decisions on when to snap the shutter. (A pleasure by the way with
the D70 because it goes RIGHT NOW when I tell it to - no delay)
