Not for the best quality, just a quick test of best-frame-capture. The recent post about this subject got a bit lengthy so here's some last weekend stuff.
The weather was terrible, trying to keep the rain driven by a thirty mph wind off the lens. It was really hard to hold the camera steady, even during motion.
The first three were a BFC burst in M.

As you can see, I couldn't keep the Gull in the frame properly, and the horizon is crooked.
Then another BFC stationary subject, the twins. Again the gusting wind was a problem.

Just one in continuous H

I straightened the horizon on this one. As I was leaving just did a quick in camera HDR of the Bay. I don't see much smoothing of the waves with the three combined shots.

O.K. so the small viewfinder makes birds in flight extremely hard to manage. Using the temporary zoom out button does help to some degree. If the wind and rain hadn't been so severe using the LCD may have been possible. Is birds-in-flight an S1 strength no, it's really hard but fun trying.
