Yo Bob, gotta a question for you.

When using the R72 from Hoya, my 6900 drop a couple of stops which results in me needing a tripod to take even the "brightest" picture in normal P mode. When I switch to B/W mode in SP, it's literally impossible to take any picture due to the long shutter speed required. My 6900 drop more stops in B/W mode than color mode. Does it happen to your camera or maybe there is a fault with mine. Anyone else with comments on this?

I havn't tried IR yet on my 6900. I just got it yesterday. On my Oly C2100 I have no problem taking sharp handheld IR shots in both color and B&W mode because of the image stabilization.

I just took a meter reading on my 2100 of the lights in the kitchen and got f2.8 @ 1/60 sec in both color and B&W mode. I don't think it's a problem with the 6900 though but probably just the way it's set up...
