I've done this with my Nikon gear and now my Fuji gear. I usually stay in hotels that offer flat screen TVs so in my travel kit, I have a number of Display Port to whatever cables so that I have a big screen that I can use to view my day's take. I don't like connecting the camera to the big screen, it find it more straightforward to just copy the images to my Surface Pro and connect that to the big screen. Since I have Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC installed on the Surface Pro, I can do the key wording and setting of the reject flag right away so if I have to reshoot, I can do this the next day.Brilliant Hankse and HumanAspect, well explained for me. Mini HDMI to HDMI cable just ordered, will try on the TV first before deciding whether I need a smaller dedicated monitor. Many thanks.
