How to Handling Nef's?

Alcineia, this photo was processed completely in Capture. All I did in PS was to save as a JPG.

I really like those, specially the eye detail of the one you post in photosig,I can understand mine 28-105 losing detail but shouldn't i get that kind of detail with a 80-200 2.8 AFS?
Stefan did you do a extra USM in her eyes or what?C'mon tell me the truth. :))
I shot my photos all in RAW, then in NC3 changing WB, lightlevels,
sharpness, If I want to show the photos in the net, I save them
directly from NC3 in 800x531 to JPG, if its necesary I change color
saturation and kontrast in PH....... thats all....

on the children fotos sometimes I use "neat-image" to make them soft,
all portraits are done with 50mm 1,4 or 85mm 1,8

more questions.... thats allready all.... :-))

Craig,

I'd be interested to know why you went to PS to save the NEF file
as a JPG - why not directly save it as a JPG from NC3?
Nick, I like the ability to see a preview of what the image looks like at each quality setting. I also like to know ahead of time what the file size is going to be before saving.

This photo could have been better, for sure. Center of focus is very near his collar. My new year's resolution is to get better exposure and focus. Not much new work in my gallery. Weather has been awful and other priorities have prevented photo shoots. Hopefully I'll get some good ones soon, though.

Thanks Stefan,
Craig
