Hi, my question most likely sounds stupid, sorry

I already own PS. I had issues with it and decided to uninstall as Adobe support couldn't be of much help.

Now, I need to download a fresh copy but can't find how to do it.

Adobe site takes me every time to download a free trail.

Then they prompt me to purchase it.

Then, a window tells me I already own it and if I want it for "my team".

This is a dead end every time.

Please help.

Ed

I assume you have creative cloud installed?

Which version of PS are you looking for?

Do you have Creative Cloud installed and are you signed in to your account?

Yes sir, both.

I'll try to get in touch with a live person this morning.

Thanks anyway

Try using the License key you used when you first installed the software. You should have an account. Log into it and download from there.

I have a subscription to the 20GB Photography plan.

If I log into my Adobe account, on the home page I get a display of apps. If I click on Photoshop, I get a download of a setup utility for it

It's not an offline installer.

If you require a full offline installation package, you probably need to contact Adobe support. As far as I can find, they don't make one readily available for download. (I speculate that's due to piracy.)

Open Creative Cloud, click on Apps. Click on install for Photoshop.

As others said, reinstall from the CC app. Unfortunately Adobe doesn't offer an offline installer for any of their apps, which is a bit of a shame for those who don't have fast internet.

I thought that there must be an offline install package available, somehow.

That may have been wrong.

(Some people who claim to be Adobe employees stating that no downloadable standalone installer exists.)

That's a bit offputting.

There was an option to download the full installer for earlier (non-CC) versions like CS6 but there never was for CC that I'm aware of. I agree that iti's annoying but since the app pretty much needs to connect to the Internet and since cable/fiber is avbailable to probably 90% of people out there, they figured it was unnecessary to maintain an offline installer, but it may make it harder for people to crack if they have to download the app through the CC app, which requires a subscription, at least to continue to use it.

As a test. I contacted Adobe chat support. After struggling to get past a pretty weak AI assistant, a human sent me a link to a download for what is supposed to be a download for what may be the whole CC schmeer. 4.2GB ZIP file.

The OP doesn't need anything like this, though. I can't explain their difficulty, assuming that they have an Adobe account.

This would make sense that they would have to have some image file or download for companies that have to mass deploy Adobe products on several computers, as I cannot see downloading the apps the only option for corporate clients. So that makes sense. I didn't bother looking for a complete CC download though since it would probably take me about the same amount of time to download the full installer as it would to just install using the CC app.

Adobe does have an offline deployment capability for the CC Desktop apps.

Before I retired 18 months ago we had it on isolated air gapped secure corporate development lab environment networks as did our government customer. No www internet connection even possible. Our IT admins handled the installations.

Our teams were using Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator. Also FrameMaker but that is not a CC app.

The install packages and and licenses were acquired through multi year licensing agreements and contracts with Adobe. Not available to typical consumers.

This is it.

Yep - It really is this simple. I've done it many times. Don't even need any keys, etc. You just need to be signed in to your creative cloud account.

Hi guys.

I was away without internet for few weeks. Sorry.

Problem solved

It seems that the main problem was in my OS.

It was corrupted on too many counts that it was unrecoverable.

I formatted again and started from scratch.

It took me many many hours but now everything is working just fine.

All programs working and computer feels 10X faster.

Thanks for all your help

Best

I do have an account.

I can see why using these modern programs are such a pain. Too many locks.

This was only part of my problem.

I had to reformat the whole thing. Worth it!
