If you get a chance to see it for yourself, to be honest, there is a totally different feeling evoked by being there rather than looking at a picture. Don't get me wrong, I loved taking the shots that night. And I'm glad to share them here. But somehow, the sense of size and closeness to the subject is simply not captured. It's quite a site with the lights and the enormous buildings. It's as if the lights and the buildings are characters in a tragic play, as if they are having a conversation together.

Heheheheh... how you do go on! :))

Thank you very much.

Interestingly, while out there, I sort of walked around the park to see what sort of gear other photographers were using. I saw some camcorders, a couple of digital cameras (Nikon 880, possibly a Nikon 5000, an older G1). As I was shooting my last few, a woman came out to the same spot. She had an F707 on a small tripod (it didn't look sturdy enough as a stable platform for the breezy conditions). I knew right away what she was using even from many yards away. In my happiest voice, I said, "F707 you got there?" In a surprised face, she said, "Yep, sure is..." I exchanged back, "Good girl!! You're going to love how the battery performs in this cold weather. I've been out for half-hour already." She seemed quite happy.
Phenomenal. "My goodness!!!!!" Spectacular and breath taking!
This is truly a POTD, no POTM, no .... POTY! This is the best one
I've seen yet. Composition, and quality is phenomenal. You seem
to do your best work when it is cold out and you are freezing.
Maybe you have some X5 blood too! Hehehehe. :-)
