Got PS7..what's best way to learn it? suggestions needed

I just got PhotoShop 7 and am trying to get an idea of the best approach to learning it...I need suggestions..Do I just hold my nose and dive in?' or are there some particularly good books to help. I'm open to any ideas and want to hear how YOU learned it. Is it as difficult as I've heard?

As a full time graphic designer and a Photoshop expert it is my opion that playing with PS7 and buy the Book "Visual Quickstart Guide for Photoshop 7". i have used this series for early editions of PS and it is well written and easy to use. You should be able to find it at Barnes & Noble http://www.bn.com .
