https://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/gfx100/menu_setup/power_management/index.htmlI'm kidding.. There is not much about that camera I'm not very familiar with.If you do not read the manual of a complex camera like Fuji or at least study Rico's book, you are probably using your camera below its capabilities.I have always assumed that if I had it on, it would improve my image fidelity to soar even higher beyond the norm of FF....Does page 367 in the GFX100II manual answer your question?I received my GFX 100S II this last week and have completed most all of my setup and customization.
There are six Performance Boost modes and the Fuji manual has no specific information quantifying what they really do, other than a general description. Can anyone, here, provide any further performance information or advice concerning these modes?
Thanks!
Also, I like this camera more than I thought I would. I knew I would love the output files, but didn't expect to like the camera as much as I do! The only thing I did not like is the lack of battery charger, which I just remedied, ordering a dual battery charger. The camera gets hot charging the batteries, internally - video shooters must really like that, starting off with an already hot camera.![]()
It is always on, and I have no clue what it is.
What does the manual say? I have never in 5 years ever once looked at a Fuji manual.
BTW, Rico writes that Boost mode helps AF-C.
It should help AF, when “boost” is set to AF priority, I guess.
