Getting the LightPix Q20II GRowiNG edition in the EU?

I wanna get the LightPix FlashQ Q20II, but its availability here in Germany is pretty scarce these days. I was told by the manufacturer they're restocking for the EU, so that might change soon-ish.

But, now there is a special Ricoh version of this flash available, but only in China, and only to Chinese shipping addresses it seems. I want it! : ))

Anyone has an idea how I could get that special version of the flash somehow delivered to Germany?

Many thanks!

I've recently ordered stuff from Lightpix directly; shipping took only a few days.

Great find! Do you know if it allows for TTL with a GR3/3x? I wasn't able to make that out from the page.

No, but you could contact Lightpix directly, there's an email address on the webpage, and a contact form too. About Us – LightPix Labs

Good to know! I might do that.

No, it's the exact same flash as the normal Q20II. No TTL.

That's what I did, and this is how I know they're restocking for the EU, and the GRowiNG edition is only for the Chinese market. But I want it! : )

I know the feeling :)

Myself, I use the Lightpix trigger/receiver with a Godox Lux Senior with my GR-cameras, it's also light and compact, and has a built in beauty-dish. Excellent for candids.

Also have the Leica SF240, a very compact flash with a very usable auto-function.

Both interesting options. : ) I will get the Q20II for sure though, even if the GRowiNG edition is not available to me. It seems very popular (especially for the GR III) and the price is right (except right now because no stock).

Whereabouts in Germany are you?

Here they deliver to Berlin:

Offer: Another option is, I can buy on your behalf and bring with me to Berlin and post it to you. But you'll have to wait a few weeks - you're better off paying the extra postage directly from the shop.

There's also the Godox TT350 for Pentax, also works on the GR3x. It's a relatively compact flash, but I find it already to big for comfort on a GR; heck even the X2-trigger feels huge on a GR-camera :D
Does the TTL work on the TT350? I'm sure I read somewhere it did not.

I find the Pentax 'about right' in size, power etc., for street portraits & fill light.

Lightpix have terrible customer service. I love my FlashQ Q20ii but have twice emailed them asking about a TTL version for Ricoh and neither time have they replied back. By the way, I got mine from a site called Photospecialist in November and much cheaper than Amazon, it was €86. But unfortunately they've been out of stock for quite some time now. Might be worth messaging them though.

You know the M20 is only Sony and Fuji compatible, right? Or is it compatible with Ricoh but just not the TTL function?

I bought the Manual (Non-TTL) version. tbh - I'm not sure what real benefits I will get over my Q20ii.

Waiting for it to be delivered (from USA -> UK)

I think I got mine from Photospecialist as well.

I think the GR3(x) wasn't out yet when the TT350 was released, but I have had it working with my GR3x + X2-trigger.

See also this excerpt from the manual, just after the part you quoted:

But I found the setup ill-balanced in relation to the size of the GR. The LightPix-trigger + Godox Lux or Leica SF240 are a better match for my personal use. The Lux is a brutally simple flash, and the SF240 has a good auto-function. For more powerful light, I'd rather use the Godox AD200 :)

The TT350 was great as a walkaround-flash for my K-1.

Hey thanks! But when I click on this link, it says it won't deliver to my location (Berlin).

You'd get it in the UK? £136.26 is not much better then what I'd pay at some of the Amazon Germany marketplace sellers, so I reckon I'll use one of those. But many thanks for the offer!

Yes, I just checked again and got the same - I'm pretty sure it did before.
