G9 availability on Amazon.com v. B&H

Amazon isn't as optimistic: "This item will be released on February 15, 2018."

I placed my pre-order with B&H on Nov. 10, so it was going to be a two-month wait for me. Another month won't be a big deal, but I admit it would be nice if it does actually ship mid-January, particularly since our friends in Germany are already receiving theirs.

I pre ordered mine on Dec 9th from B&H. Im not too worried about estimated shipping dates...it'll get here when it gets here.

I will be in NY in early February and was planning on getting the G9 (not sure yet). If amazon shipping date is correct, I will get another camera. Being in NY is a buying opportunity for me, since I live in Brazil where the import taxes will double or triple the prices of cameras in general).

I thought the New York retailers might be over loaded with orders, since I was late preordering. So,I ordered from Samy's. Hopefully stock arrives soon.
