G7 - Problem with Cullmann AF 20-C Flash

Flash units I got was for doing wireless small product shots in a studio setting, shooting 5D. Which is why for me getting the G7 was natural.

For some random reason the Sunpak PZ40 that i have and thought was good. seems not to be firing properly now. one in every 5 pics is good . the others are cr*p. It with fires full strength, or not at all, or just the pre flash.. looks like it's got to be a Canon!
