FUJIFILM XT3 GOES AUTOMATICALLY IN BULB MODE WITHOUT TOUCHING ANYTHING

My camera sometimes goes to bulb mode. All becomes black when i shoot even if settings are not in bulb mode. They are in A for iso and A for shutter speed.

then i have to take battery off and starts to functiin again well…it happens everynow and then…

anybody experiencing the same?

I never saw this with any of my X-T3 bodies. I'm wondering if your shutter may be sticking. Try switching to the electronic shutter and see if the issue goes away. If it is the shutter, the repair will cost more than the used value so I'd say stick with the electronic shutter or purchase a replacement either a used X-T3 or something else, possibly an upgrade.

My X-T4 sometimes goes to 1/8000 s although the A setting is locked.

Bulb as well as 1/8000 s are directly neighbored to A.

So far I can live with it since it does not happen too often.

Quickly turning the dial back and forth a couple of times helps.

There are reports of others who used spray, so far I haven't.

That could be. The top plate is a common failure on the X-T3. I went through two of them on my X-T3 bodies.

I think so Morris. I never tried on my own, I just cited others. There are a few reports here in the forum and elsewhere.

They typically apply it carefully with a cannula under the dial.
