Files external HD Backup cannot be moved to trash; no permission?

After Volumes it does recognise "LaCie d2 Professional 10Tb" and "com.apple.TimeMachine.localsnapshots" . LaCie is my backup drive.

But, when I type "cd LaCie d2 Professional 10TB" it says: "cd: too many arguments"

I guess the name is too long?
You need single quotes 'LaCie d2 etc' around the volume name because of the spaces. If single quotes don't work, try double quotes " ".
"command not found" (both "" "" and ' ')
Alternatively, go to /Volumes in a Finder window and drag the volume name from there to the Terminal window, after typing cd<space>
Not possible, unfortunately

Did you start with cd?

Fortunately everything worked as I left yesterday. No problems again...so far; I'll keep my fingers crossed.

A few things come to mind:

1. Maybe a ridiculous thought, but I since I installed my new Mini a week ago (from iMac Time Machine backup/Sonoma), I have 2 Time Machine icons....

If I "show info" on one, it says "App (Universal)/ Location Macintosh HD - System-Apps".

The other one says: " App (Intel) Location: LaCie de Professional 10Tb-Apps".

Could that be a problem?

2. When I open Finder, I can ofcourse see my external HD (named "LaCie d2 Professional 10Tb"). When I select this drive there' s (again ofcourse), "Backups". When I open this, I see 2 maps; "iMac from GBM" and "MacMini M4Pro from GBM".

Both maps are inside the external and it seems backups from my earlier iMac and my new Mac mini are split.

Could that be a problem?

(shouldn't I combine these 2 maps into one?...if so, how?)

Thank you!
