feature request: ignore lists (usernames) for the forums

Well, I see the 'Ignore' button was added.

What a waste, in my opinion.

If someone can't ignore another poster on their own, then perhaps they aren't grown up enough to even be posting on any chatboard!
I disagree. I don't know about you, but I don't let people into my house I don't want inside and then just ignore them. I simply lock them out and that way they don't cause any trouble for me. It is those who can not behave maturely civilized are the ones who aren't grown up enough. As of today, we have the power to lock them out, or let them in again later if we wish to give them a new chance.

I know I'm sometimes slow to learn new stuff, but what am I to do with this feature? Is this saying that I pick some posters and then I can't see their posts? If this is it what's the reasoning behind it. I could easily ignore their posts anyway if i want. Also if this is the way it works, how could some threads make any sense if responses and/or new input along the way was not being shown in the thread. There are certainly people I don't agree with, but I wouldn't want their threads to not appear on my machine.

I'm sure there is something that I'm missing and I for sure don't understand. Can anyone help.
