F20 Questions

Here is the rebate:

I saved the PDF a while ago, and the rebate itself says its good until '08. I have heard alot of stories about this rebate, most say it's good after contacting Fujifilmrebates. Many people have sent in an earlier version of this rebate, which also was not posted anywhere on the Fujifilmrebates.com site, and they had no problems either.

Hi, Youve been told about all of the lovely features and abilities the F20 has by people that know more than me about Cameras so I wont add more on that.

Personally I would like to add and say that i have also bought this camera A short while ago and the more im using it the results im reciving are improving, but I still have much more to improve at.

Few months before buying the camera I read A test review of the F20 in A Photography/Camera magazine im my country.

The F20 was compared in the test to the Canon Sd600, Sony Dsc-T9, Casio Ex-S600, Nikon Coolpix S9, the F20 won the tests and comparision and recived lots of compliments.

From all I have read and heard about the F20 since it came out at all kinds of websites reviews, forums, magazines etc the F20 is one of the TOP 10 Compact Digital Cameras in the market currently, and price to value its Number 1 :-)

New to the forum and digital photography, I will be returning my f470 for possibly the f20 or Canon Sd600. With a little adjusting, it seems that the f20 can take just as good pictures outside as the sd600, or better. Am I right?

Thanks Ted...it did have a slight bit of PP...some shadow lightning and some saturation boost...but mostly it is how it was..

And I have to say that I think my F20 does better with sunsets than my F31...odd it would differ, perhaps its in my mind, or the processor is different, same sensor though.

The 3D glasses shot was from a convention tour we took some people on at the aviation dept. at the local university. This is the virtual reality room where one can disect and redirect the entire system of an airplane, allowing the engineers to move parts, systems etc. for more optimal performance. Its cool!

I just got one from Kids Health Matters (downloaded) and it says good on purchases through 03/01/08. It's $30 on a camera under $200 and $50 on a camera over $200. I picked up an F20 with a 512mb card included for $159 at Costco.

It works out to the F20 being about $109 (more or less).

I'll see if I can track down the link.

...oops, I got to the previosu post through a search so I didn't see the first post (dang). Anyway, the rebate appears to be legit. Now I suspect Fuji isn't offering any NEW rebates but if you can get that form it should be honored...he says crossing his fingers.

Oh well, at $150 with a card and no shipping it still is a heck of a camera for $139.
