Dave thank you so much for your reply. Yes I am talking about the
602. I need just a bit more umph in my flash for inside pix and
though that would be my answer but not don't have enough knowledge
for manual picture taking. Maybe I could just juice up my flash a
bit. Thanks for repsonding. I do thank you for it.

You really do not need any real manual picture taking skills to use
an auto flash unit. All you do is set the camera to manual and set
the aperture setting to the f-stop recommended by the flash (it's
in the manul as to how to set your aperture), then set your shutter
speed to 1/400th, turn on the flash and shoot away. The flash
takes care of all the automatic functions for you. All you have to
do manually is get the right shutter speed and f-stop set in the
camera.
Besdies, it's digital, just play around with a bit on manual and
experiment....it's not like you are wasting film!
