I'm having trouble adding a new ICC profile to the software 'epson print lay-out', and having trouble finding answers on google. As I understand, the ICC profile is installed in the correct folder and other software is able to find it there. However, the new profiles do not show up in the epson print lay-out dropdown menu.

I'm using windows 11, and the default folder for the ICC profile should be \Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color
The printer is the epson ET-8550 and the paper is BIO TOP 3. I downloaded and installed their ICC profile from their website: https://www.mymondi.net/ufp/en/brand-group/biotop3 . All drivers should be updated, and the software has been reinstalled. Still, it doesn't seem to find the ICC profile in the default folder.

Would you be able to help me? Is there a step I'm missing?

Kind regards
Bram

Are you sure that the icc profile is for the ET-8550? I mean, I had a quick look and can't really find any reference regarding which printer it is made for. You can't just install any icc profile, it must be for the printer or it won't work.

Anyway, if it i installed correctly then EPL settings should look like this:

In my case I have ILFORD Galerie Smooth Pearl selected as paper, and the software selects the ICC profile automatically, but I can also select it manually by clicking on Auto Select and roll down to the profile.
