*** TROLL WARNING ***
Hurray, I think I finally figured this one out.
How to make any lens sharper
Take a photo, any aperture any lens. Print said image, post on the wall. Step back 3 feet... voila much sharper. Cost $0
How to get less DoF with M43
Take a photo, any aperture. Print said image, post on the wall. Step forward 3 feet... bingo less DoF. Cost $0
How could I have missed that all along and so why are we so hung up on M43 vs FF sharpness, noise, DoF and equivalency. The problem isn't the size of the sensor or quality of the lenses, it's how we look at the images..! Buy any format any lens, use any aperture, adjust viewing distance accordingly, problem solved, size of the sensor or cost of the lens no longer matters
.
P.s. yes... it is kind of a troll, just venting having been sick for 3 weeks and bored wasting my precious time wanting to go out and take photos, feel free to ignore this post on the futility of our argumentations.
