E-1 - most reviled camera in history

Although, since I do go to renaisance festivals playing the flute while dressed up in a green velvet hat, green velvet jacket, and tights, I guess I really do "live those pictures".

Good smile and chuckle from that one ;).

I actually took the statement quite as read, given the personality you project here. We won't talk too much about tights, but you are reminding me also of an earlier musical co-career, which began professionally with singing at tables and leading feasts in quite a nice mediaeval restaurant, and involved besides good instruments a robin hood costume of sorts.

Anyway, a lightness in spirit is where the art loosens its chains of relation, and takes the comforts to occur.

Quite glad for the connection the pictures can make, and quite possibly you and your partner should connect Basel into a trip some year.

Larry,

Balsy is one way of putting it. I too hope Oly have hit a home run with this. Sure, we've seen the specs and the estimated pricing, but this isn't set in stone yet. Until we see images produced on a production model and read the reviews of experts in the field, I am witholding comment. Having said that, I was one of the "non-Oly" desenters who posted hastily after the anouncement. Mainly because I had been swept along with all the speculation that we would see a camera offered at below the Canon 10D price structure. Being new technology, its hard to compare to any existing formats until we see images (not Oly studio marketing shots). Specification wise there isn't much between the Oly and the Canon 10D though.

Lets wait till release date.
