Don't Look Down
Mt. Ellinor, Washington, USA

A mountain goat feels right at home on Mt. Ellinor's 5944 foot summit. This majestic peak sits near the southern end of the Olympic Mountains and looks down on Lake Cushman.

This photo was taken seconds before a parade of baby mountain goats followed across the angled rocks, and mere hours before I proposed to my girlfriend who, I am happy to announce, accepted.

Taken with a Sony DSC-S75.

Let me know what you think!--Mark

Congratulations Mark!(on your engagement!). Did you propose on the mountain, or did you go up there to get up the nerve!
Oh yeah - great picture - really like the angles.

Good luck .... (my wife and I just celebrated number 30! - sometimes I think she'd like to take me to the top of a mountain (and, throw me off!))
