Do the OM-3 & OM-1 Mk II have the same menu system? If not, can anyone who has experience with both give an opinion about whether one has the edge over the other in terms of usability?

They're essentially identical, save for the differences in some options where the capability isn't available on the OM-3 or vice-versa.

Nearly identical. The OM-3 has added features such as the ability to name custom presets. It also carves out separate presets for video and stills.
