Yep, depending on the lighting/shooting situation this might be needed ... maybe even custom WB by picking a white point with the pipette ... a point of the thumbnail that comes close to 18% gray seems to work best.The way I read your work flow: each image will have to be attended

The flaw I've found with the "pipette" method is, the white you choose will be influenced by the light source, 240, 202, 153 and there by create clipping and a color shift as the pipette raise the contrast of the image.
