*** CTF Mini Challenge 134 - In Motion (II)

Thanks for three beautiful pictures, Eric.

The partial desaturation directs the eye in #1, nicely done. You captured the concentration of the boy on his play very well in #2.

Thanks for three very nice fireworks shots. A "Mickey Mouse" firework is rarely seen, great capture.

The easiest way for the host is a reply to the head (first) post in the thread and a subject line like "Three from DigitalNemesis".

Hi Bryan...

I will replace your "Pelican looking for Lunch" with the revised version. Looks better, more naturally, IMO.

I should clarify my point about sharpening. Some photographers post-process their pictures in a loss-less file format (e.g. TIF) or a loss-less workflow to a final point without or with only basic sharpening. For different purposes of further use (printing, web, etc.), they create different copies of their processed master file.

E.g. for a mini-challenge, they resize a copy of the processed master file to 800px. Then they sharpen to their taste. Finally, they convert it to a JPEG file and upload it as an original to their host site.

Peat, I should have known. Excuse my ignorance, Malcy. Did I mention the excellent composition in #2 "Water in motion".

No problem, we are surrounded by the stuff here. The waterfall is one of a group at Ingleton Lancashire UK.

Thanks for the comments Wertdinger.

Yes, I assumed that. I remembered Ingleton Waterfall and Ingleton Gorge, two beautiful photos, in one of ana's challenges.
