Just get ANY generic hotshoe to PC adaptor...you can get them ANYWHERE and just costs a few bucks.Hi, I have an E-500, is there a way I can connect it with the
x-connection of an external flash (softbox)?
Can't find the answer in this forum or on other sites.
Just ask for a "Hotshoe to PC adapter".Yes, it's the shoe I'm looking for, because wireless connection is
not very usefull as I'm still a student and it's pretty annoying
that all flashes go off in the same room when we're shooting models.
I've checked ebay already and some online store shops but no
solution found yet (maybe it's not the right search criteria and/or
name I'm using ...)
If someone has a link or location, please post it![]()

Actually, using the SafeSync can damage SOME flashes...at our camera club some members insisted on using their SafeSync with our monolights, but because the monolights only had a trigger voltage of 9v, there wasn't enough power for the SafeSync to draw on to work, and the SafeSync damaged the power circuits of all three of the monolights. After repairing them we no longer allow SafeSyncs.and get a Wein safe sync adaptor instead of a plain one, a little
protection against overvoltages can't hurt. The Wein will also let
you use a hot shoe flash at the same time as the PC cord.
Well, that's really wierd, because my monlights have a trigger voltage of around 6v and I use the SafeSync with them all the time with no problems. Aurora Genesis G400's...the SafeSync was the only link to all three getting damaged (after one got damaged, that one was marked as "Slave Only" and then another one got used as the master, and then when that one died and the same thing happened with the third)...after getting them fixed (I fixed two of them myself after finding out which component was damaged, so I know it was replaced with the exact same component), there hasn't been another problem since we've banned SafeSyncs.Well, that's really wierd, because my monlights have a trigger

Maybe you're thinking optical slave triggers, but a radio trigger should work.Yes, it's the shoe I'm looking for, because wireless connection is
