I guess DPR has found a solomonic solution to challenge voting problems. User profile overview under challenge stats no longer shows average placement score.

lmao!

That seems about as irrelevent a fix as possible ~

I'd like the date of my last gallery upload to be correct - I uploaded yesterday, but it says 3 months ago (?) It's never been right. The count is right, though.

Ah, I hope that comes back as it is my guage as to how I am doing (not too well). I have a personal challenge to get above that 50% mark and then to edge up eventually. Now I just won't know as I was a history teacher and not a math teacher! Read this DPR and bring back the stats. Thanks.

In a way it removes the long-term competition out of challenges, so renders placement less important.

I agree, it is not what I would have done, but you have to admire the ingenuity to find the cheapest solution possible. ;)

I am a bit disappointed with this change. I was looking forward to cross the 40 barrier before year end (from a low of 25 last year). I have been in so many challenges (around 700) that a top 10 finish moved me up by only 0.1.

Current ranking was 39.8 which is over my real ability. I will now have no hesitation to enter more challenges for fun even with weak entries.

It may reduce the incentive for some to resort to desperate means to influence voting outcomes.

Can focus on merits of photography in challenges somewhat be renewed?

Solution ? what exactly does it solve ?

Take a look at my album . . . http://www.F1Album.com

It's like your car is making funny noises so you turn up the volume on the radio.

Bring back the stats - it removes the personal challenge - I was at 49.something trying to get over 50%, even with the cheats...now I have less incentive to enter.

As of yesterday, I believe my % was close to 40% (39.something%). Now if anyone asks it is around 90%, no actually 99.73% on the Cheedr Scale, and yes Paulo I need 0.27 missing % friends.

Bring back my true % score, I and I alone will try to raise it above the 50% mark on the quality of my Challenge entries. In my next dream it will be 55% or 60% or…..

Cheers all - Kipper

I hug you...
