>>> [Challenge 99: B, b and b ]<<< Part 2

...already having been arrived at.

Meaning no one is saying anything because everyone is good with it.

Though, of course, I am open to alternative interpretations.

But you'd better speak up now or...as the saying goes, Forever hold your peace.

Many people don't check this thread often, even though they submit entries. Let's make a separate thread of the idea, and have people vote on it, or provide other suggestions. Another good thing is that it will get attentions from people who don't participate very often. Let's make the 100 the biggest challenge ever, with hundreds of entries.
Get your votes in now :)

...so if you're going to do it...do it now.

Maybe as an announcement of the Hot 100 Challenge?

Suggestions for topics, I'm not so sure of....I do not know if the internal clock maintained by Jack can be changed.

But off to bed for me.

I leave this in your capable hands.

....before almost anyone else?

Camera only reviewed today by Phil....Hummmmmmmmmmmmm?

Stick with us here regardless.

You're certain to end up with a new system soon enough (40D ?? :).

And for now, I know we'd all love for you to keep entering in exhibition with your other camera.

I'm sorry to hear about the storm damage and the expense associated with it. We've been having odd weather here lately too.

Normally it's dry around here but we've had unusual monsoon moisture causing frequent thunderstorms as well as freakish humidity. My office has been flooded three times in the last two weeks. At this point I've thrown away most of everything that's been soaked and got everything else up high or in plastic Kitty Litter buckets.

But I'm not going to waste my time cleaning the mud out until I can move everything to a different building because I know it'll just happen again. I wear my "pig slopping boots" in my office now :)

A small tornado blew down the power poles leading to my office's area last week resulting in a bit less than a day without electricity.

But it's all just been some inconvenience because my home has not been damaged and I keep hearing about flooding in the UK, India, China, and SE Asia. My heart goes out to you and everyone else who's had real troubles lately.

Of course, it's at the last minute as usual!!!

But why not make both of these galleries open to any type of camera the way Exhibition always has been but still keep the time period restriction the way Eligible has always been? We've got some regular contributors who shoot with non-canon cameras and I don't see any reason to keep them out of this one even if this is the CSLR challenge. Hey, why not be challenged from the "outside" too? What have we got to lose?

After all, neither gallery is really "eligible" this time. It's all exhibition because you don't win anything, not even the chance to host since the Challenge 99 winner hosts Challenge 101, right?

So in the spirit of "open", just like the theme, why not open both galleries up to any camera.

I do my best thinking in the shower - gotta run now and dry my hair before it gets "stuck" like this.

The best ideas I've ever had were when I was sitting on the throne!

I'll second your motion to open up both galleries to any type of camera for Celebration 100.
