>>>Challenge 91_In The Style of....Voting Thread<<<

...for the excellent topic and your excellent hosting job! And yes, the Loki image is mine. I want to practice alot more with Painter before truly posting a painted image. (I don't think my old tablet will work with my current computer--and the PC itself is 2 1/2 years old. And I have a very old version of Painter as well...) Want to upgrade, want to upgrade.....

...your talent and vision.

Do you forgive me for messing with the Title of that image a little?

I just really liked it...and didn't want it to be called what you named it in fun...

I apologize.

I stepped over the line...I won't do something like this again. I was busy, I ran with my emotions. Sorry.

Best Wishes,

Traveller

...I didn't mind at all. Sometimes my titles are kind of random anyways, especially if I don't know what to call something :).

...booth...pronto!

If only so you can see what is going on.

Trust me...it's damned interesting.

Though this may change over time...time and change are the only constants to our lives.

Oh...and your duty to have fun and vote...that's a constant also...lol

Best Wishes,

Wonderful images, and some with fantastic PP! Not only did I learn a lot about different styles and artists, but there were some interesting clipart and software programs used that make me want to try all sorts of new things!

Voted in both, but it was difficult as usual.

That was a fantastic challenge. Thank you, Traveller!

And I'm blown away by the fantastic work from everyone. Pictures that are truly spectacular and worthy of not only placing, but winning a challenge have gotten no or few votes simply because the level of work in the galleries is so fantastic.

I look back through the voting booth and think: "What, I didn't vote for that? I know I meant to." But then I see another, and another...

HMs to everyone!

This isn't a problem, but I find it interesting that I didn't vote for 11 of the top 12 entries. That's probably the most skewed my votes have ever been compared to the prevailing votes. I'm not sure it means anything, but I do find it interesting. Don't get me wrong. I think all the top 12 are very fine images. Perhaps all this shows is that we're trying to compare apples to oranges here.

...Okay, I know that you all have busy lives, hither and fro, this and that, running here and there and there Are important things that you have to get done.

I accept this...but if you havn't voted, take a breather from all your tasks and wander over to the Voting Booth if you can...There are a bunch of Really great images there to be looked at again...to be pondered, to be selected, to be voted for.

This need not be an agony....but rather fun, a flier, a moment of your attention and it will be accomplished.

Thanks.

...won this puppy on her first outing!

Her's was certainly a startling Orginal image and better, imho, than anything I've seen done by Chuck Close.

That's just my opinion...I simply think that Elena's work is better, both more startling and more pleasing to me.

But lots of people could have won Eligible...Sharon and Cat come immdiately to mind, as well as Melanie, Nico and Melbob...just those five individuals captured all 10 of the top spots...which just goes to show exactly how strong their work really was.

As to Exhibition, like Eligible, I voted for the 1st and 2nd place getters. There is a certain sweetness in Julie Bird winning this Gallery.

Good on her is all I can say...and her "Turner," really was as good in many ways as Mr. Puff's "Man Ray." I can well understand her winning Exhibition...hey, I voted for it also.

As to Michael, what can I say...I've been a fan of his for a long time...the soft Blues in "La reproduction interdite," were outstanding, as were the fully deep depths of the clouds...and the man...he was Magritte!

Just perfect in all regards and a well deserved win by Michael.

I will organize the Galleries and Place getters sometime this evening.

...there were more entries in Eligible than Exhibition.

This is almost never the case....and seems to indicate to me that people relied on their existing images less...and actully had to go out and shoot what they needed for this Challenge.

This also is, when you think about it, pretty nice.

Best Wishes,
