* * * Challenge #186 -- Ell Composition * * *

Had been thinking I need a vacation, but think I'd rather be stuck at work than out of action... Hope you get to take a real vacation when you're 100%, but enjoy the rest while you can!

Thanks for adding the reference and link to Typeaux's information, which is good, and may be helpful inspiration to some folks participating in our Challenge.

The variety and creativity in interpretations of the theme among entries already placed in both our galleries is amazing.

Is it muscle spasms or a pinched nerve thing? Either way, it can be very painful. I slept in a water bed for 22 years because of muscle spasms and I didn't have any troubles. I got tired of the waterbed, you can't go buy sheets any time you like because they have to be waterbed sheets. So I wanted to try a normal bed. I haven't slept in a bed since, it hurts my hips and shoulders and worst, my back. So, I've bought 3 mattresses in the past 6 years and they all are awful (money doesn't matter).

I think a sleep number bed is my only hope besides going back to a water bed. Waterbeds are like sleeping on a big hot water bottle, excellent for aches and pains.

Hope you get up and about soon!

It's all pretty easy. Just put any shots that fit the theme in the exhibition gallery, it can be shot anytime (even film) with any camera. The competition is for Olympus (or any 4:3rds) cameras during the running time of the challenge.

It's nice to write as many comments as you can (I try hard to get them all, but I've been crazy busy this past week) and then voting is very simple! That's the best part of all. You'll see when voting comes around. The only hard part is picking the first place photo out of so many great shots.

So glad you decided to join in!

So this is an Oly Forum challenge, not one of the DPR Challenges? That's where I was getting a little confused. I'll have to go back and make some comments, I did notice that within the rules, and completely forgot about it.

Thanks again for the welcome!

See if I can dig up some for the other gallery as well.

I'm in! Still not exactly sure how this all works, with the different galleries. I just entered one in the competition though. Fun challenge!
Indeed you are in. Glad to see your entry. Shirley has confirmed the basics for you. It's easy to participate, everyone has a good time, and its a great way to learn and pick up ideas.

Enjoy!

to find a good entry for the comp. I might have one, but the camera is out in the car and I'm so pooped out, it will have to wait until last minute tomorrow.

I have been cooking home cooked meals, I forgot how much time it takes. LOL I am loosing a lot of weight from not eating garbage, MickyD's, Taco Bell, Applebee's...it's all crap and it is all I've ate for so long.

I used to cook more, but it just became a habit to eat out because it was so handy. So, I've been eating all fresh foods, and low carbs and no more pop (that was tough), eating more protien (grass fed beef, buffalo, free range chickens and no bread...kinda hard but worth it. I just hope I can keep it up for the rest of my life.

Really impressed with a lot of the entries. I'll add my feeble attempt tomorrow before closing.
