Challenge #15 - Voting Thread

Mark, now that the voting is complete.
light hay - very creative and a lot of possibilites here. Lots of
interesting things to look at and people relationships to ponder.
The bright spots from the "pin-holes" in the barn siding detract
quite a bit, however, especially in the lower half of the image.
(They almost work in the upper half as sprites or pixie dust.) The
bale of hay in the lower left doesn't work as the brightest object
in the scene. It draws too much attention with too little interst
value. The other comments this image has drawn regarding the 2
'normal' people spoiling the mood are quite valid as well. I think
you could also go the other way, elminating the shadowy figure to
turn this into a magical scene instead of a menacing one.
Thank you for you insight. I tried to offset the haybail on the left with the people on the right hoping to take some of the emphisis off the left side of the photo, I guess it didn't work for you :) not a lot I could do about the gunshot holes in the barn though LOL

I used this photo to make a collage of my buddies children, I used the window lights to light up the photos I added and it turned out rather nice if I do say so myself.

In no particular order I really liked:
Haylight: Killer image but withh too many distractions (people).
Go back, if you can sometime, and reshoot this GEM of an image. Wow!
Stephen

thank you for the feedback, I purposely took them in the picture to try and take some of the emphisis off the left lit up haybail, and I appreciate your insight to the image. Its always nice to hear what other people think and their take on a photo

thank you
Lance
