Lovely furball shots everyone!

Melidonia, I see that you are using the NX500 with the 50-150S. I have the same cam and have been thinking about getting that lens, too, as the IQ of my 50-200 is not that stellar. But I am worried that the S lens may be too unbalanced a combination as I find the 85 1.4 to be already a bit of a stretch for the NX500, although manageable.

Beautiful new friend you have there, and a great shot!

Oh so sweet that tiny wrapped one, I hope she'll make it - what's wrong with her?

Lovely image.

Here is one of our two cats, Daphne, a traditional Siamese, 16 years old now and very sweet, we love her much:

Taken with NX500, NX 85 at f/1.4, 1/80th handheld

Some random cats found in my last trip to Buenos Aires. C&C are welcome!

He was just sitting there, like some kind of well protected art work

Posted some of my cat pictures in another thread... but here is a brief video with the Rokinon 135.. i am not a video guy though.

Very sweet! Nice lens, also - is its star now steadily ascending in your lens universe?

Why not repost your nice cat pictures here, so people can calm their nerves some more?

I guess I could also use some more cat pics to look at ... as I just got myself into a nice fat argument with some DPR staff over their mid-range camera roundup regarding their astonishingly biased evaluation of the a6000 vs the NX500 and the rest of the cams, their judgments and rankings that are at the very least as subjective as anyone's else's opinion here on the forums, including my own, lol!

If anyone feels that they may want to wake up again from that nice calming cat nap induced in this thread, take a look at the comment section below DPRs midrange camera roundup. What a kerfuffle. Hilarious.

Thanks.
i prefer to use my NX1 with my 50-150S, but the NX500-50-150 combo is very handy. The Ifonction help a lot.

yes liking the lens a lot.. not versatile and hard to use but when you get it right it rewards you.. with all thats going on with the rumors i hope my camera lasts a long time.. its not cheap for sure but you have to spend a lot more money to up the IQ .. started with a TL100 point and shoot, then an NX300 (which i still have sitting in a desk drawer) then a year later the NX1.. if the price on the bodies drops below $900 i might pick a second one up so i can leave the 16-50 s on one and the rokinon on the other. i do like the 60 macro to a degree as i am a landscape designer and like to take flower closeups. but i wish it was 100 mm.

its too early!!

this was taken only for the LOL factor.. my nx300 with the rokinon 135.. i didnt even take a shot with it but i was swapping lens on my nx1 and wanted to take the pic.. the rokinon is only slightly lighter than the 50-150 and no tripod ring.
