can't see what i'm doing wrong with profile

thanks.. i appreciate the suggestions to improve the image - which will no doubt get me much closer to what I want. will play with it tonight. Obviously, i am frustrated that i don't seem to have made any procedural errors, but am not getting the desired result directly. So, for now, the workaround is the best option. Oh, sRGB was the same as ARGB when I printed the image (without the latest suggestions for improvements.)

First, thank you for returning. There are so many that post once, and you never find out if anything that was proposed was effective or not.

I wasn’t proposing switching color space, but that if the color space was incorrectly tagged, then the difference between sRGB and AdobeRGB might be sufficient to have caused your problem.

Yes, you really shouldn’t have to tweak an image to get it to print as it is seen onscreen.
