Can the "OK" button be customised to check focus during playback?

So I'm looking to copy what I have customised on my aging Nikon D750 but on an H2s. I would like a quick way to check focus and facial expressions on a shot, which you can do on Nikon with a button and scroll wheel combo to quickly jump face to face in the image you just shot.

Is this possible for Fuji? Or, even just to zoom in a custom amount to the focus point. Clicking the joystick does this but I find that very non intuitive as my muscle memory is to hit the center OK button. Wierdly that takes me to a "Switch memory card slot" option that surely no one really needs to be on instant access..!?

I know I should just read the manual fully but I've only hired one for a trial use and I don't think I'm going to be able to find the setting before I have to take it back! It's just kind of a tricky requirement to Google too (I tried) as I'm not sure what terms will find it so hope any existing Fuji users can help please!?

Hoping I can make it work and be more comfortable switching brands...

On my X-T5. if I press the rear dial in when in playback mode, it zooms in to about 90%. I can then scroll around with the joystick. Maybe the HS2 has that option?

Rotating the X-H2S rear command dial right while viewing a photo will, by default, zoom in. Rotating left will zoom out and display multiple images as a group

Thanks! Unfortunately the rear dial on the camera doesn't have a click option.

No - but you will probably soon get used to clicking the joystick which, as you note, is the quick way to zoom into the focus point

Thanks Bill,

That does work, but I'm looking for something that needs fewer clicks to super quickly check critical focus on the subject before switching to the next shot in fast moving situations. I think I'll just have to retrain my muscle memory! Thanks again.

Thanks so much, a shame, hopefully I'll be able to retrain my muscle memory.

I've been shooting with Nikon for 30+ years and Fujifilm for 8+. I've dabbled with Canon and Sony a bit. You'll not have any problem.
