can i use pec pads/eclipse fluid to clean mirror?

Hi,

i have some dust on the mirror of my 1D and also when i look through the viewfinder i see some particles...

canb i clean the mirror with the pec pads and eclipse fluid and can i also clean the viewfinder inside (i don't know the words to describe it otherwise, so i hope you get the meaning)?

i doesn't effect images, but i'm afraid that when i leave the dust on the mirror it will get on the sensor eventually...

Michael recommends Sensor Swabs (same manufacturer as Pec Pads) and Eclipse fluid.

You should not attempt to clean the mirror or focus screen as both will damage easily. It is a simple matter of blowing the dust off them.
