Can I Do It?

I am attempting to salvage an Epson 2200 printer. When it was last working, I could only print from the manual feed slot as for some reason paper would not feed through the top sheet feeder. At some point I developed a clog and neglected the printer. Now I have filled refillable cartridges with a cleaning solution and have tried to run a nozzle check, however the printer just pushes the paper through with no attempt to print anything. Is it possible to run a nozzle check through the manual feed slot? or Is it possible that the printer can differentiate cleaning solution from ink and not do a nozzle check?

just saw you post. Hope you get it working.

I have a 2200 also and it is still working 100%, but I can no longer get ink for it. I tried InkOwl cartridges but the colors are not right. I tried calibrating several times and I just cannot get it to be correct.

I am on the fence about buying another printer. The similar one from Epson is $800 and you have to buy Ink right after setting it up as per their instructions. So it's really $1200 to just get started with the printer.

They don't make an Eco Printer with 10 colors LOL.

Oh well. I'll just print at Walmart.
