Interesting composition.....but I wouldn't use F2.8 as you have very shallow depth of field, which makes the photo very soft. If that was your goal, you succeeded. I would have used F8 or higher for a landscape shot.

Definitely a good composition idea. I think you are off center (left to right) by a 'smidge' or so & that distracts me a little. Also bothersome that the sky seems blown out. I wonder if shooting it at different time of day or in different wheather could have improved that. Of course, I know that isn't always possible...

Interesting. I agree with the comment earlier regarding using F2.8.

Also you could try to go lower, almost down to the level of the water and shoot up giving a different horizon plane and capture more reflection on the water.

I'd crop some from the left and the right of the image.
And go back to the RAW file to darken the bright area in the water on the right.

Thanks everyone for all the feedback, I will definitely try to avoid f2.8 when I have that much light in the future. Hopefully I will be able to improve the shot after I find a working CF reader.
