Hmmm...ok maybe flimsy is too strong a word, put it this way, when it comes to build quality the 10d and d100 are superior to the s2 in a tactile way, I'd say the 717 is closer to the s2 even with the magnesium body. And matthew please, metal is not a color, your 717 is silver so i can hardly think you can call silver a cheap looking color even though I feel it is, that's probably why the 828 is gonna be black.

No it's not flimsy. At all. It's a tough, rugged case, and the
828 will be more tough and rugged.
