If a company promises expedited shipping I don't care if they put it in a wagon pulled by a giraffe as long as it gets to me in the time frame they promised.

Maybe UPS Ground is the fastest route.

I don't know about UPS, but expedited shipping is not normally overnight. Sounds to me like you got an upgrade on your first shipment, not a downgrade on your second.

I bet B&H's web site will define "expedited" shipping for you.

Retailers normally give you the cheapest way to deliver within the specified timescale. Insurance might play a part in why it might have been cheaper for them to overnight a camera to you, but not a hard drive.

Before making these charges,,,or wording it like their already quilty ,,,,maybe you should call them first ! If not happy with the responds then maybe ask others about their experience. Sound like your trying to gather a posse to launch a attack !

Perhaps the second item shipped from a different warehouse. Expedited shipping, as stated for the second item, is not the same as overnight shipping.

Expedited doesn't meant anything other than a relatively priority handling (like moving the paper from bottom to the top). If the outfit has a stack of order which may take two-three days, putting yours on the top is certainly expedited.

2nd Day or Next Day are specific shipping method, which was not specified here, I assueme. If you're within zones that Ground would take only one day, why does it matter it was Ground or Next Day? Anyway, that's besides the point. Expedite doesn't say next day, and it doesn't mean next day.

It's certainly possible somebody made a mistake, but they are well know for reputable and honest dealing.

1. This isn't bait & switch. Bait & switch is when one product is ordered, but a cheaper or lesser quality product is shipped. It's also when one product is advertised, but it's not available when you get to the store and you're offered a different product.

2. Did the free expedited shipping method indicate anywhere that it was going to be sent overnight?

Depends on how far it's going. Ground may get it there just as quickly.

Our "expedited shipping" description says, "This item is eligible for free expedited shipping in the contiguous (lower 48) United States. Expedited shipping should arrive in 1-3 business days, depending on your location. Expedited Delivery not available to PO Boxes." it does not suggest or imply or promise any particular shipper or shipping option. We reserve the right to select those in return for your $0 shipping fee.

The order for the Seagate drive was received on 12/28 after 4:00pm and ready for UPS the same evening. They'll begin to move it Fri 12/29.The ETA is 1/4 because Sat & Sun are not business days and 1/1 is a holiday. Three business days are Jan 2, 3, 4.

So the package isn't late and on their website expedited shipping is 1 - 3 business days.

It's not even close to being late, Saturday is not a business day.

Come back next Wednesday if it doesn't show up after you've contacted B&H and they give you a response.

Saturday delivery is not normal regular for most carrier except USPS.

I, for one, am sure hate to pay more so others would receive it next day which I don't need most of the time. I would prefer those who want that service to pay for it themselves.
