I prefer FastStone Viewer which is an advanced viewer...not only is it free and not only does it open DNG files,not only does it act as an organizer of your files, it also has an editor with which you can make the basic editing actions and then you are finished. Another advantage is that it is constantly being updated, again for free.You got to love FastStone!

Never knew about this little gem. Thanks for the heads up. It certainly is a nifty little utility (though, as pointed out before, a tad slow - but hey, its still better than nothing!).

I downloaded and installed faststone. It is not opening .pef files off my K10D? Anyone using it with a K10D and it is opening PEF files? There website has no "support" or other areas that I can find.. Gerry
