I suppose my main "project" has been to photograph as many local (Denver) jazz musicians as I can. I've never had any actual plans to do anything with these, but this thread got me to thinking about it, so I've finally pulled some pictures together and posted them to Flickr:

I plan to keep adding to this collection as I get shots of more musicians. I also hope to replace some of the more mediocre shots - which I've posted because they are the best shots I have of musicians who deserve to be included - with better ones of the same musicians.

I'm sorry for the late reply. I'm not following the forum in detail right now.

When thinking of all the baby and kid pictures that nearly ended my life as a happy amateur photographer there is one thing I wish I had done; Details.

I should have got myself a macro lens, or at least a lens capable of decent close-ups. There were wonderful feet, fingers, eye-lashes and other details that I wish I had in the albums now. For example; there was a trinket, an enameled little ceramic heart, floating around.

My daughter was very fond of that heart. At one time it just filled her palm. I wish I had a series of pictures during the years of that hand with the enameled heart in it.

I like the tone you've added to your pics, and you're right the

Thank you. I really should rescan the second picture and give it more details and a little less of the toning. Some day...

What a great recommendation! I've got a reversing ring for my Minolta film gear -- I'll get put it to use.

I've already noticed that the kid's eyes are changing from the oddly doll-like look at birth, I wish I'd done some close-ups.
