For those of you who ordered dirt-cheap memory chips from Amazon.com:

I'm quite impressed!

I'm glad to hear that you got your chips. I ordered 2 of the dirt cheap 64mb cards, not sure what to expect. But since I had talked to them on the phone a couple of weeks later and they said that they expected to ship them soon I was hopeful.

But now I just sent an email asking if they could give me a hard ship date so I'm glad that you had success. Hopefully I'll get the same email soon. I need the cards for my honeymoon... i'm leaving in 3 weeks! I just want an answer one way or another. However, my experience with amazon has typically been very honorable.

I'm glad to hear that Amazon is shipping some of the cards... hopefully they'll get to mine eventually. I've emailed them and here's my response:

Item delayed 1-2 weeks.

Since our policy is to charge for items at the time of shipment, you
have not been charged for this item at this time. Any other items
you may have ordered that are already on hand will be shipping
separately, and your total shipping charges will not be affected.

Oh well....now they show a delivery of 12/14-12/27. I guess that I won't get to use these on my honeymoon coming up, but at that price I'll wait! :)

I was told my 2 cards are shippinp today and they charged my credit card so I am assuming they are telling the truth.

I just checked my order status and it says they are shipping it 2nd day air and it will be here Friday. Will let you all know.
