I think the photos are absolutely wonderful but at the same time I don't really understand why folks keep using this forum for displaying their most recent shots/gallery especially when there's a forum just for that

Maybe Phil should add some new forums like "Nikon Gallery" and "Canon Gallery" cuz it seems people insist on using this one as a means to show their latest work ...

25 posts of I just got my (Insert model no here), what are the best settings?

50 or so posts of, my new camera is on the fed-ex truck I just got my tracking no!

30 posts of what makes the D200 better than the D80? The specs are almost the same.

100 posts of I cant take a sharp photo with my new whatever.

200 posts speculating on FF cameras

500 post speculating on speculation.

And of course the Canon trolls and Nikon haters that frequently post here.

So yeah!, God Forbid, we should actually post photos here taken with our Nikon equipment.

BTW, with the exception of the fex-ex posts, I'm not saying that they are worthless posts, or that they don't belong here, but, so do posts that have photos. And unlike you, I seem to be able to skip reading the posts that don't interest me.
