Has anyone tried using the 602 as a webcam? I read somewhere that it could be used with PictureHello which comes with the camera (I don't seem to have it!).
Any comments would be welcome.
Thanks
Frank

Hi Frank,

I have used the S602Z in Windows Messenger and it works great in Messenger.

The people in my list said that the have never seen such a beautiful video and so sharp.
So if you have Windows Messenger and a fast Internet conection you could try it.

Greetings from a little cloudy Holland at the longest day of the year.

Thanks. Someone has told me that during low light it is not very good, fine during the day though. And of course there is no brightness control, which doesn't help. :-( How do you get on with yours? This is one of the reasons I am asking, because a new webcam I have is also fine during the day but poor under low light conditions.

Hi Frank,

Yes at low lights it's not so very good buth not real poor.

You must see if you can get a Philips ToUcam XS PCVC 750k (60 frames/second) at your Country because i have one by myself and it's a very good cam also with very low lights (the light from youre monitor is good enough) and the internal microphone is also very great.

Take a look at the Link below (sorry i have it only in Dutch)

What is Ivisit, I cannot locate that?
Frank..
Have a look at

Thanks. I now have that downloaded and working, but like the other
it only seems to recognise my webcam, not the 602! On the Video
Capture selection the 602 doesn't show. Any ideas?
Thanks
Frank
Sorry for the delay Frank, I had to download the new version of ivisit.

I find I have to connect the usb then turn the camera on and then start the ivisit program. Cannot remember if thats what I had to do before.

If you still have problems maybe there is a conflict with another program such as netmeeting capturing the camera data first..

Thanks Lert, that seems to work. ;-) I can now get it to work with ivisit and finepix viewer. Only problem is the picture is not that brilliant. Someont told me that their picture was great, mine seems a bit broken up. I have played with all adjustments available, but no joy. :-(
Thanks
Frank
