5d3 lock switch not working

I'm pretty sure the lock button is to prevent accidental setting changes via the rear wheel. Settings that change when you need to hold a button in and scroll the wheel are probably not affected because it would be hard to to accidentally. I know on mine I can change frame rate when the lock is on.

hi, i have a 5d mark 3 bought with only those three languages. and i have the 1.3.3 firmware. but seems doesn't exsist in official canon website, beacause the last is 1.2.3. where you get this camera?

i thought i had the problem on my 5DS + 7D II. i read on canon's DLC that hitting the Q Button releases the lock for as long as the quick control screen is open. once you close it the lock works. i was using the quick control screen to check it the lock was on. that little button fooled me. thanks canon. hope this helps you
